Job Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified Global Language Educator to join our team at the St. Louis Language Immersion School.

This is a full-time position for the 2025-2026 school year, starting in August 2025.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide instruction in core content areas to both elementary and middle school students in either Chinese and English.

This includes ensuring student safety through active supervision, building strong relationships with students, families, and stakeholders, and providing appropriate scaffolds and differentiated instruction.

Additionally, the educator will collect and analyze data to drive decisions and prepare daily lessons aligned to the curriculum.

The ideal candidate will possess near-native fluency in spoken and written English and Chinese, as well as a license to teach in Missouri or other state.

A Bachelor's degree in education, literacy, language, or a closely related field is also required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide instruction in core content areas (literacy, math, science, etc.) to both elementary and middle school students in either Chinese and English
  • Ensure student safety through active supervision
  • Build strong relationships based on mutual respect across dimensions of difference with students, families, and all stakeholders
  • Collect and analyze data to drive decisions
  • Prepare daily lessons aligned to the curriculum
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per yearBenefits
