As a Patient Intake Coordinator, you will work closely with clinicians and other staff members to ensure that patient information is collected accurately and efficiently. You will also need to be able to work in a fast-paced environment, often on your feet, and be able to multitask effectively.
This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be interacting with patients who may be very ill or worried. You will need to be able to listen carefully to ease their anxiety and build rapport in real-time.
