Full-Time Position Overview:

Bright Light Academy is seeking an experienced and dedicated childcare professional to join our infants' teaching team as a full-time Lead Infant Educator & Caregiver. This role involves collaborating with teachers to implement daily lesson plans, creating a safe and stimulating classroom environment, and providing individual and group support to children.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop and implement daily lesson plans and activities that promote learning and growth in young children.
  • Create a safe and nurturing classroom environment that encourages exploration, discovery, and development in infants and toddlers.
  • Maintain open communication with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any areas of concern.
  • Assist students with personal care routines, including feeding, bathing, and diaper changing.
  • Engage in regular team meetings to discuss student progress, share best practices, and plan for future curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of experience working with young children, preferably in an infant-toddler setting.
  • Must qualify as at least an Assistant Group Supervisor or higher with the Department of Human Services.
  • Preferably hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or be pursuing early childhood education coursework.
  • Ability to pass state, federal, and child abuse background checks.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.
