The role of Vascular Ultrasound Specialist at Inova Health System encompasses delivering patient-centered care, managing diagnostic equipment, and providing clinical services in line with established ultrasound practice standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicates with patients to gather clinical history and obtain consent
  • Assists medical professionals during specialized procedures
  • Prioritizes patient safety and comfort throughout examinations

Required Qualifications:

Certifications:

  • ARRT, ARDMS, RDMS, or RVT certification as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer is mandatory
  • Basic Life Support certification is essential

Experience:

  • At least one year of experience in a healthcare or hospital setting

Educational Background:

  • Graduate from an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
