Ultrasound Technologist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Reliant Medical Group in Worcester, MA. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform ultrasound studies, including diagnostic breast imaging and limited vascular studies, as assigned
  • Perform routine quality control/quality assurance tasks and maintain exam suites in good and appropriate order
  • Obtain and review patient clinical history and related reports/documentation
  • Obtain pertinent medical history, instruct patients regarding exam procedures and preparation
  • Perform related clerical duties as needed
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an AMA accredited ultrasound program or equivalent
  • Certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS)
  • RDMS registered breast technologist, or become registered within 6 months of hire
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certified and maintain this certification during employment
  • Demonstrated competency to perform ultrasound exams on newborns, children, adults, and geriatric patients, meeting all department guidelines
  • Maintain all required continuing education credits and licensure during employment
  • Physical health sufficient to meet the ergonomic standards and demands of the position
