Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, VA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional care to patients undergoing labor and delivery, as well as providing support to the healthcare team.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients undergoing labor and delivery
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in their condition
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as code blues and obstetric emergencies
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Virginia
  • 1-3 years of experience as a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment and supplies
