Healthcare Support Specialist

The Certified Medical Assistant plays a vital role in assisting physicians and other clinical personnel in either Pediatrics or Internal Medicine. The primary location is at our Acton office, with potential opportunities at our satellite locations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support patient care, administrative tasks, and clinical upkeep.
- Assist in the examination and treatment of patients under the supervision of physicians.
- Perform phlebotomies, process specimens, administer immunizations, and take and record vital signs and EKGs.
- Maintain a clean, stocked, and ready clinical environment for patient care.
- Assist with phone triage, appointment scheduling, prescription refills, and patient education.
- Work across various departments including internal medicine, pediatrics, and laboratory services.
Qualifications:
- Certified/registered Medical Assistant with a degree or certification from an accredited institution.
- Experience with eClinicalWorks EMR is advantageous.
