Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team in Lancaster, SC. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on buildings, fixtures, furniture, and equipment, as well as performing minor electrical, plumbing, and heating repairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs routine maintenance on buildings, fixtures, furniture, and equipment.
  • Performs minor electrical, plumbing, and heating repairs.
  • Reads and interprets drawings and specifications relating to electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and HVAC tasks.
  • Paints interior and exterior of buildings as assigned.
  • Repairs or replaces defective parts.
  • Ensures that safety is practiced in all phases of work.
  • Operates hand and power tools to complete assignments.
  • Performs various other miscellaneous duties as required.
Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent supplemented by one to two years of semiskilled and unskilled experience in carpentry, electricity, heating, and plumbing, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
