Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Retail Operations Manager Trainee to join our team at Hibbett Retail, Inc. As a key member of our store management team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Store Operations: Assist the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett Retail, Inc. and ensuring the store is running efficiently.
  • Departmental Management: Consult with the Store Manager to establish action plans to accomplish departmental and overall store responsibilities, including selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
  • Supervisory Duties: Assume responsibility of the entire store in the absence of the Store Manager and provide guidance to employees and customers in all departments.
  • Inventory Management: Be aware of inventory, sales statistics, and expenses to ensure profitability in all departments.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and ensure quality service is maintained.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform general administrative duties as needed and be trained in the Store Manager's responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-3 years of customer service experience in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong attention to detail.
  • Qualities: Self-starter, team-player, and passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
