The Automation Technician will work closely with our A&E designers to research, develop, and implement systems for industrial control, show control, and mechanicals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the design and implementation of special effects for new shows, existing shows, and special projects.
  • Learn and understand show-related programs and systems to troubleshoot and repair them.
  • Maintain professional communications and quality customer service with team members and other departments.
  • Prove and test developed systems and commission them for use, providing necessary training and documentation to users.
  • Ensure all efforts conform to the National Electric Code and approved Sight & Sound construction practices.
Requirements
  • Basic electronic and electrical skills with equipment programming knowledge.
  • Proficient with shop and hand power tools.
  • Computer skills including hardware, software, and networks.
  • Familiarity with industrial and/or theatrical control systems, including industrial motor drives and human mechanical interface (HMI).
