Certification Requirements
  • Driver's License/State ID: Required if driving is a significant part of the role.
  • Unit-Specific Certification: Certification requirements are detailed in the unit descriptions found on the facility profile page.
  • National Tech Certification Verification: For allied health professionals, consult the Allied Licensure report and the specific unit description in the facility profile for licensing needs.
  • EEG Technicians: Education verification may be accepted in place of certification.
  • State License Verification: Primary Source Verification is mandatory.
  • NURSYS Verification: Required for RN, LPN/LVN, and AP as applicable.
  • NIH Stroke Certification: Necessary based on specialty.
  • Crisis Prevention Institute Certification: Required based on specialty.
Position Overview
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. First-time travelers are welcomed.
  • Schedule: Day shifts, 3-12 hour shifts, varied schedule with rotating Saturdays, and no on-call duties.
  • Patient Care: Ability to assist in transferring patients from beds to MRI stretchers is essential. A strong emphasis on delivering excellence in patient care and experience is crucial. Responsibilities include coordinating care and MRI examinations ordered within the emergency department.
  • Patient Demographics: The facility is recognized as a Stroke Center of Excellence, treating numerous stroke patients, along with cancer patients and those from the wound care center. Services include breast imaging and biopsies, with plans to upgrade equipment from an older 1.5 T Symphony to a Siemens 3T.
Job Requirements
  • BLS Certification: Required.
  • ARRT Advanced Certification: Required.
  • ARMIRT Certification: Preferred.
Schedule Information
  • Work Hours: Day shifts, 3-12 hour shifts, varied schedule with rotating Saturdays, and no on-call duties.
