Essential Duties:
  • Design, prepare, and deliver engaging lesson plans and instructional materials that promote active learning in both virtual and blended environments.
  • Create structured work plans, lesson outlines, and assessments that align with established educational standards.
  • Guide and monitor student progress and engagement.
  • Utilize appropriate technology to enhance and tailor instruction.
  • Oversee student behavior in accordance with established protocols.
  • Provide constructive and meaningful feedback on student assignments.
  • Evaluate and document student performance and growth.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of student achievements and development.
  • Assign and assess classwork, homework, and other educational tasks.
  • Engage in district, school, department, and parent meetings.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Possess or be eligible for a valid Georgia Educator Certificate or meet the district's professional qualifications.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, staff, and the community.
  • Exemplary integrity, commitment to confidentiality, and a strong professional reputation.
  • Adhere to the Georgia Professional Standards Code of Ethics for Educators.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
  • Ability to be present at the designated worksite.
  • Capable of performing tasks that involve extended periods of standing, walking, and sitting.
  • Able to engage in routine physical activities such as lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
  • Competent in supervising students, especially during emergency situations.
  • Strong vision, hearing, written, and verbal communication skills are vital for fulfilling required tasks.
