Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and implementing classroom curriculum through age-appropriate activities that promote social emotional learning and school readiness.
  • Support teachers in providing individualized activities for children with special needs and assist in implementing Individual Education Plans.
  • Encourage parent/guardian participation in the program and participate in special center-level events.
  • Actively participate in program and family/child staffing's as required and participate in implementation of center recruitment plan.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Child Development Associate credential or Child Care Certificate.
  • 2 years relevant experience working with young children in a group setting.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills, ability to maintain confidentiality, and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Ability to obtain CPR certification and First Aid within six months of employment.
