Job Summary:The Maintenance Team Lead will lead and participate in activities concerned with the design, construction, modification, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in manufacturing. This includes inspecting and repairing machinery and equipment based on operating parameters, according to engineering principles and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinates activities of the Maintenance Technicians to establish priorities and methods to address maintenance work orders.
- Analyzes and troubleshoots mechanical and operational problems on assigned equipment and plans for and takes corrective action.
- Performs preventive maintenance on equipment to reduce downtime.
- Maintains and monitors inventory of maintenance equipment and parts. Orders new parts as necessary.
- Installs and maintains program modifications for all machines.
- Coordinates with the Maintenance Manager for the installation and removal of equipment.
- Completes purchase order requisitions for all purchased goods, equipment, or services.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintenance and repair, with experience in leading teams and coordinating activities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in a related field is preferred. Licenses and certifications are a plus, but not required.
