Instrument Technician Job Description

At INTEGRIS Health, we're seeking a skilled Instrument Technician to join our Enid Hospital Sterile Surgery Supply team. As an Instrument Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the proper decontamination and sterilization of surgical instruments and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Decontaminate and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment using steam, Steris, or Sterrad methods.
  • Disassemble, clean, lubricate, package, and wrap instruments for sterilization.
  • Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals and maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of preparing and sterilizing surgical instruments and supplies is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills in English are essential.
