Emergency Medicine Physician

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician to join our team at Sollis Health. As a key member of our medical staff, you will provide expert emergency medical care to our patients in a serene and private environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform medical evaluations and formulate treatment plans for urgent and emergent care within the scope of emergency medicine.
- Perform medical procedures, including obtaining IV access, phlebotomy, administering IV medications and IV fluids, and performing EKGs.
- Lead the medical management of patients in our clinics by working closely with a team of PAs, nurses, and technicians to discuss your assessment.
- Assess and treat Covid-related cases, including obtaining clinical samples to test for the virus, performing point-of-care testing, and providing general symptom management and recommendations.
- Document your clinical evaluation and treatment in the electronic health record, Athena Health.
- Work closely with the Medical Director and other clinical team members to ensure all policies are adhered to and that you deliver quality care in an innovative setting.
- Coordinate additional care with our After Care and house calls teams or with one of our Medical Partners.
- Make patients and family members comfortable, patiently and professionally answering any questions they have and using patient-centered empathetic communication at all times.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related operational projects as needed.
Requirements:
- Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
- Physician state license and ability to practice in the state of New York.
- Completion of an Emergency Medicine residency and emergency medicine board certification required.
- 2+ years experience as a physician in the emergency department and/or urgent care center after your residency required.
- DEA license required.
Compensation:
Range: $185-$190 per hour. This is the range of pay for New York candidates only. Sollis is a multi-state employer, and this rate/range may not reflect the pay for positions that are performed solely in localities outside of New York.
