Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic to join our team at Emt Ambulance. As a key member of our emergency medical services team, you will be responsible for providing advanced life support and basic life support emergency medical care to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced life support treatment of patients, including administering medications and performing procedures as needed.
  • Operate ambulances and other company vehicles and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Transport sick and injured persons to medical facilities, providing basic life support care as needed.
  • Observe patients, record significant conditions and treatments rendered, and take vital signs to detect deviations from normal.
  • Prepare inventories and stock supplies, inspect equipment for proper operation, and clean and disinfect ambulances and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, medical personnel, and the general public in verbal and written form.
  • Report to work punctually for all scheduled shifts and maintain a clean and complete uniform, personal hygiene, and professional demeanor.
Requirements
  • Must meet the qualifications of an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic, including valid certification and licensure.
  • Must have reliable transportation and be available to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be able to lift, transfer, and maneuver patients and equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to emergency situations. The employee must be able to work effectively in a team environment and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.

The employee must also be able to work in a variety of settings, including outdoors in inclement weather, and be able to lift and move heavy equipment and patients as needed.
