Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Granger Medical Clinic. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammography exams and providing exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the optimization and implementation of protocols to enhance image quality
  • Prepare patients for exams, including pre-screening, reviewing history forms, and gowning
  • Use proper techniques and positioning to ensure safe, timely, and high-quality diagnostic exams
  • Obtain consents, documentation within EMR, coding, and charging
  • Maintain a quality control program for ACR
  • Perform good safety practices with protection, cleaning of equipment, and sterile techniques
  • Assist in advanced mammography procedures
  • Place/remove IVs when necessary
  • Help maintain mammogram ACR & FDA/MQSA requirements

Requirements
  • Certified by ARRT or licensed to perform general radiographic procedures in Utah
  • 40 hours of training in mammography and 25 mammography exams under direct supervision of an MQSA qualified individual
  • 8 hours of training in using a mammographic modality
  • Experience with breast ultrasound or willingness to learn breast ultrasound
  • Demonstrates proficiency on all equipment
  • BLS certification

Working Conditions
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Lifting up to 50lbs
  • Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment
  • Inside, climate-controlled working conditions
