Military Health Policy Research Associate

Knowesis is seeking a highly skilled Military Health Policy Research Associate to provide analysis and assessment services in support of the Defense Health Board (DHB) under the Defense Health Agency (DHA).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and evaluate quantitative and qualitative data to make logical inferences and draw accurate conclusions.
  • Develop accurate, evidence-based reports and information papers on various issues relevant to military healthcare.
  • Provide technical, editorial, and graphics assistance in preparing reports and other documents.
  • Conduct fact-finding, analysis, and research on Departmental health-related issues.
  • Support the development of Board recommendations and reports.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years of research and report writing experience with understanding of Military Health System (MHS) preferred.
  • Familiarity with the provisions of the Federal Advisory Committee Act of 1972.
  • Strong research, reading, writing, editing, and organizational skills.
  • Tact and diplomacy in the presence of Executive/Senior DoD leaders and Luminaries in the healthcare industry and academia.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Management experience or demonstrated management skills.
Education:
  • Masters-level degree from an accredited university in a health-related field, or equivalent as demonstrated by a combination of education, experience, and publications or policy papers as first author/senior author.
