Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Functional Developer to enhance a logistics system based on the Marine Corps Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). This role encompasses a variety of functionalities, including asset tracking, supply chain management, maintenance operations, readiness assessments, task organization, repair processes, request monitoring, and financial data management. The successful candidate will collaborate within an Agile development team to create RICECPW (Reports, Interfaces, Customizations, Extensions, Configurations, Personalizations, and Workflows) solutions. Responsibilities will include the development, design, configuration, testing, and documentation of solutions tailored to user requirements and stories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive requirements analysis, functional design, and test documentation/execution of RICECPW across various Oracle SCM modules.
- Support technical initiatives while adhering to established Agile methodologies.
- Document functional designs for RICECPW to ensure clear communication with developers and compliance with documentation standards.
- Review and analyze Change Requests, assisting in the requirements gathering process.
- Conduct development and user acceptance testing, documenting the results effectively.
- Present RICECPW testing activities to stakeholders to ensure transparency.
- Provide detailed instructions for successful code deployment and rollback procedures.
- Develop design alternatives and specification documents as needed.
- Oversee the analysis, design, and development phases related to Oracle modules.
- Update the development team on deliverables as necessary.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Oracle e-Business Suite R12 and Oracle databases.
- Strong functional knowledge of Oracle SCM modules.
- Familiarity with Oracle e-Business technical tools such as PL/SQL, Reports, Forms, XML, among others.
- Understanding of Oracle EBS and SCM base tables.
- Ability to conduct impact analysis for Oracle product updates.
- Expertise in designing interfaces and conversion routines.
- Capacity to deliver solutions that meet established SLAs.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Adaptability to evolving business processes and technologies.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Must be a US Citizen.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Security clearance at the Secret level.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in an IT-related discipline or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in Oracle EBS Supply Chain Management modules.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Marine Corps or DoD supply and maintenance operations.
- Proficiency in OAS and WF.
- Familiarity with APEX.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies.
- Background in SOA/BPEL programming is advantageous.
