We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Health Care Specialist to join our team at DispatchHealth. As a key member of our innovative care delivery team, you will have the opportunity to redefine healthcare through mobile and virtual healthcare.

The Role

This role requires a certified Advanced Practice Provider with experience in acute care settings such as Emergency, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine. You will work closely with our clinical care team, including DispatchHealth Medical Technicians, to deliver comprehensive health assessments, diagnose and treat complex illnesses, and educate patients on managing their health and well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive health assessments and diagnose and treat complex illnesses.
  • Accurately document patient encounters and ensure accuracy.
  • Analyze test data to diagnose, treat, and arrange follow-up care for patients.
  • Educate patients and families on treating acute illnesses and managing their health and well-being.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, family members, primary care providers, and other individuals involved in patient care.
  • Maintain positive relationships with DHMT partners and remote teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of two years of experience as an APP in acute care settings.
  • A graduate degree from an accredited institution.
  • The ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
