Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Management
    • Develop and implement program goals, objectives, and strategies to meet accreditation standards and industry requirements.
    • Manage program budgets, resources, and personnel to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Faculty and Staff Management
    • Recruit, hire, and develop a team of qualified faculty and staff to support program delivery.
    • Provide ongoing training, coaching, and evaluation to ensure faculty and staff are equipped to meet program needs.
  • Student Support and Success
    • Develop and implement strategies to support student success, retention, and progression through the program.
    • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure students receive high-quality instruction and support services.
  • Accreditation and Compliance
    • Ensure program compliance with accreditation standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to maintain and enhance program accreditation.
  • Community and Clinical Partnerships
    • Develop and maintain partnerships with healthcare organizations, community groups, and other stakeholders to support program delivery and student learning.
    • Secure clinical placements and partnerships to provide students with hands-on learning experiences.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing
  • Two Years of Leadership Experience in Nursing
  • Valid Illinois and Indiana Nursing License
  • Excellent Interpersonal, Oral, and Written Communication Skills
  • Effective Interpersonal Skills Necessary to Interface with Students and the General Public
  • Demonstrated Proficiency in the Use of Computers and Their Common Instructional Applications
  • Excellent Analytical Skills
  • Compliance with ACEN Standards and Competencies
Preferred Qualifications
  • One Year of Program Leadership in Nursing
  • Knowledge/Experience in Medical/Surgical Clinical Settings
