Lead the weekly integrated financial control processes, ensuring precise financial reporting and earned value metrics. Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, cost reports, earned value analyses, and resource planning and allocation. Create and distribute monthly key performance indicators through curves and graphs.

Compile summary-level project reports for executive review. Analyze financial control data to support project managers in steering project activities. Assist in monitoring project change orders and developing projections. Grasp technical aspects of standard reports and how to interpret and resolve issues. Collaborate with project managers to provide insights on project financial analysis. Travel to job sites for project status updates. Work alongside the management team, including accounting, administrative, and field staff, to identify where financial control services are necessary. Support the controller with monthly financials as required. Aid project managers with subcontractor payment estimates and reporting, as directed by project ownership. Undertake additional duties as needed.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Capability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Proficient in analyzing financial data and preparing accurate reports promptly. Familiarity with accounting and relevant software applications. Understanding of forecasting project costs and recognizing trends. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to perform effectively under pressure. Capacity to exercise initiative and sound judgment, reacting with discretion under varying conditions. Maintain a high level of integrity and dependability to ensure confidentiality of financial information. Work productively and meet deadlines. Communicate and interact professionally with supervisors, employees, and others, whether individually or in a team setting. Follow oral and written instructions, including safety signs, equipment usage, and other policies.

Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Project Management, Accounting, or a closely related field. 3-6 years of experience in engineering or construction project controls within a complex organization or on a construction/engineering project. Experience with an automated financial management system is preferred. Background in the construction industry is advantageous. Familiarity with HCSS software is a plus, but not mandatory. Experience with project scheduling and Primavera P6 is preferred, but not essential.
