We are actively seeking a dynamic and driven Warehouse Operations Manager for our logistics facility. This role entails overseeing the daily operations of a bustling environment, managing client relationships, and collaborating with independent motor carriers to operate a fleet of at least 10 vehicles, while leading a team of four to five on-site personnel.

The ideal candidate will possess a background in warehousing, distribution, and customer service, with a preference for experience in final-mile delivery. A proven history of enhancing operational efficiency, exceptional team-building capabilities, and strong organizational skills are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is also required.

This position demands a proactive individual capable of managing, organizing, hiring, and overseeing personnel, as well as utilizing automated routing systems to foster business relationships with clients and their customers in a decentralized operational framework.

Operations are conducted five days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with clients and corporate leadership to meet productivity and performance targets

· Track key performance indicators and identify trends proactively

· Recruit and manage independent motor carriers while fostering positive relationships

· Handle client and customer service interactions

· Resolve conflicts effectively

· Oversee claims management processes

· Uphold and enforce company policies and procedures

· Gain an understanding of all staff roles at the facility and assist as necessary

· Mentor and develop team members

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated leadership and motivational experience

· At least 3 years of experience managing budgets and profit/loss objectives

· High proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

· Required background in warehouse management

· Preferred experience in home delivery logistics

· Bachelor's Degree is preferred but not mandatory

· Hands-on experience with routing technologies, particularly Dispatch Track

· Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends

· Bilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, are a plus

· Comprehensive knowledge of Federal and State Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations

The successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of the geographical area, outstanding customer service skills, and the ability to resolve issues efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
