At Constellation, we're committed to empowering the next generation of leaders in government affairs. As a Government Affairs Intern, you'll play a vital role in supporting our State Government Affairs (SGA) South team in Austin, Texas.

Our team is dedicated to fostering a collaborative environment where you can grow, learn, and thrive. You'll have the opportunity to work on projects that align with your interests and skills, gaining hands-on experience in business operations, state and local regulatory support, and legislative analysis.

We're seeking highly motivated students who are passionate about government affairs and eager to contribute to our team's success. If you're a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the SGA team with business operations and office functionality
  • Assist with state and local regulatory and legislative support activities
  • Monitor legislative committee and regulatory hearing schedules
  • Attend and report on legislative committee action
  • Provide administrative or research support for Constellation's business development opportunities
Requirements:
  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program, or graduated in the past 6 months
  • Minimum GPA: Cumulative 2.8/Major 3.0
  • A track record of outstanding academic performance
  • Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work permanently in the U.S.

Position is in-person based in Austin, TX and reports directly to the Manager, State Government Affairs South.
