Job Description

This role is a DevSecOps position focused on Digital Transformation (DX) and building the next generation of infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure and scalable cloud-based systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver new capabilities, and providing day-to-day user support of multiple Kubernetes environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement secure and scalable cloud-based systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver new capabilities
  • Provide day-to-day user support of multiple Kubernetes environments
  • Work with senior engineers to design the DevSecOps architecture and infrastructure
  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (Iac) scripts and tools
Requirements:
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Linux OS Administration
  • Scripting and/or Programming (Python, Shell, Powershell, C++, etc.)
  • Proven business acumen to manage multiple assignments and projects with the ability to balance technical requirements with business needs and affordability
Desired Skills:
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
  • Experience with containers and orchestration (e.g. Docker, Podman, LXC, Singularity/Apptainer, Kubernetes, Helm Charts, Terraform, Ansible)
  • Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps CI/CD pipelines and version control such as Git
  • Kubernetes Orchestration Experience
  • Test Driven Development Experience
  • Container Hardening/CIS Blueprint implementation Experience
  • Full Stack/Microservice Application Architecture knowledge
  • DISA STIG Familiarity
  • C++/Java/Golang/C# Build System Knowledge
  • Cloud Provider Experience
  • Data Visualizations/Dashboarding (Tableau)
  • Familiarity with DoD Platform One and/or Software Factory Implementations
  • Agile Lifecycle Management
  • Artifact Management
  • Database Management
  • Experience with Static Code Analysis Tools
Security Clearance Statement:

This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level:

Top Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
