About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and forward-thinking school district. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional educational experiences for our K-12 students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' unique needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies that support students' success.
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both in individual and group settings.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of assessments, progress reports, and treatment plans.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust interventions as needed to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute expertise to the development of appropriate goals and accommodations.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues.
