Research Pharmacist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Pharmacist to join our team at HonorHealth. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the preparation, compounding, and dispensing of investigational drugs.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and implement investigational drug study protocols, including pharmacy study setup and close-out, and staff education.
- Contribute to the body of knowledge in pharmacy practice through research, poster presentations, and journal articles.
- Review proposed investigational drug protocols for scientific merit, appropriateness of research, and safety issues.
- Collaborate with investigators, research personnel, and sponsors on proposed research protocols.
- Coordinate the procurement, receipt, and accountability of investigational drugs.
- Participate in sponsor site initiation visits and study monitor visits.
- Maintain accurate investigational drug study records and documentation.
- Review study-related adverse events, protocol updates, and progress reports.
- Provide professional and patient consultations per pharmacy guidelines.
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy with a minimum of Doctor of Pharmacy degree or equivalent experience.
- One (1) year hospital pharmacy residency or 3 years of clinical pharmacy experience in a hospital setting.
- Pharmacy/RPH - Registered Pharmacist Required.
