Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Concord School District is seeking a skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to support occupational therapy services in our schools. The ideal candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and families to promote functional independence and enhance academic performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualized occupational therapy plans developed by an Occupational Therapist (OT).
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, focusing on improving motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
  • Assist in conducting assessments and documenting student progress.
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and routines.
  • Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions, student progress, and other relevant data.
Qualifications:
  • Associate's degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current New Hampshire licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Experience in a school setting is preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
