We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Interim HealthCare Staffing in Pueblo, CO. As an LPN, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including medical offices, assisted living facilities, hospitals, and schools.
Key Responsibilities:- Care for patients with a range of illnesses, injuries, and diseases under the supervision of an RN
- Work collaboratively with a team of physicians, RNs, CNAs, and aides to deliver exceptional patient care
- Take patient vitals, conduct assessments, document progress, and report changes to the RN supervisor
- Assist RNs in carrying out physician orders, patient care, and prescribed treatments
- Administer medication, operate medical equipment, and maintain a safe environment
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program and active LPN license in Colorado
- CPR Certification (demonstration course required)
- Covid-19 vaccination card
- Proof of flu vaccination during flu season (optional)
- Valid TB screening
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws and regulations
- Demonstrated clinical proficiency, critical thinking skills, good communication, and compassion
