Honickman Companies is a leading beverage distributor with a rich history dating back to 1970. We proudly serve the Maryland and Virginia regions, providing a diverse portfolio of renowned brands such as Sunkist, A&W, 7UP, Snapple, Sparkling Ice, Essentia, and Rock Creek.
We are seeking a dedicated Delivery Specialist (Class A & B CDL) to join our Richmond, VA facility. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of our products to stores and supermarkets across assigned routes.
Responsibilities- Obtain daily routing information, including stops and customer billing details.
- Plan and organize your route for optimal efficiency.
- Safely transport products to designated customers and unload merchandise from the truck.
- Assist with product merchandising at customer locations as needed.
- Collect payments from customers when required.
- Perform other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
- 0-6 months of commercial truck driving experience, including standard transmission (if applicable).
- Possess a valid Class A or B CDL with an air brakes endorsement. Your driving record must meet all DOT Regulation 49 CFR requirements.
- Demonstrate a thorough understanding of FMCSA regulations.
- Meet Honickman Companies' Driver MVR Qualification Standards.
- Be proficient in operating equipment such as pallet jacks, store dollies, and store jacks.
- Have experience working effectively within a team environment.
- Be comfortable using office equipment, including computers, handheld devices, phones, fax machines, copiers, and calculators.
