Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Pavement Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for completing work orders and other required tasks.
Responsibilities- Complete work and repair orders in a timely and efficient manner.
- Follow instructions from Foreman/Superintendent and ensure a safe and hazard-free job site.
- Load and unload materials, and perform routine preventive maintenance.
- Operate equipment to perform line painting, asphalt crack filling, seal coating, asphalt and concrete paving.
- Communicate job status daily with the Foreman/Superintendent.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and a reliable mode of transportation.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding role with lots of walking, bending, and lifting (up to 80lbs).
- Prior experience with small engines and/or paint sprayers is an asset.
- Engineering educational background is an asset.
- Experience in line striping and/or pavement repair is an asset.
- Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields.
- Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
- Ability to handle physical workload and meet deadlines.
