Job Summary

MedQuest is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting magnetic resonance imaging procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety, and maintaining the highest standards of patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct MRI procedures, including positioning and preparing patients, selecting appropriate immobilization devices, and reviewing images to determine if additional scans are needed.
  • Implement and maintain the MedQuest Best Customer Service Program, providing accurate explanations and instructions to patients, and maintaining a high level of technical competence and clinical judgment.
  • Ensure that the required supplies and equipment are available, check all equipment routinely, and perform preventive maintenance when necessary.
  • Share knowledge and expertise with colleagues, peers, and all members of the healthcare team, and maintain a safe environment by monitoring cryogens.
  • Ensure the Center's compliance with MedQuest Policy procedures, OSHA, local, state, and Federal regulatory requirements, and participate in formal training and service programs.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT registered with advanced registry in MRI.
  • Must complete required CEU's in a timely manner to ensure Certification remains active.
  • Active state licensure, where applicable.
  • CPR Certification is required.
