About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Delivery Driver to join our team at Moore Supply Company in Texarkana, TX. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely operating a vehicle to deliver merchandise to customers and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a vehicle in compliance with Company rules, applicable laws, and regulations.
  • Load and secure merchandise on the truck to ensure safe transportation.
  • Unload merchandise at delivery destinations and obtain signatures for all delivered items.
  • Collect and secure outstanding payments for cash sale deliveries.
  • Provide excellent customer service and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Perform pre-trip inspections and maintain a clean and safe vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Be at least 21 years old.
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Have a driving record that meets Company policy criteria.
  • Pass a Department of Transportation physical examination.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of laws, rules, and regulations governing commercial motor vehicles.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
