Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Courier/Driver to join our team at FedEx. As a Courier/Driver, you will be responsible for operating company vehicles and providing courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. You will also be responsible for checking shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and providing related customer service functions.

Responsibilities
  • Operate company vehicles and provide delivery and pick-up of packages
  • Check shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service
  • Provide related customer service functions
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/G.E.D.
  • Valid driver's license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned
  • Good driving record as outlined in policy
  • Six (6) months courier experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
  • Good human relations and verbal communication skills
  • Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
  • Demonstrated skills in adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
Job Conditions
  • Neat appearance since customer contact is required
  • Must meet and maintain the qualifications as outlined in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations
