About the Role

The RN Nurse Manager Cath Lab is a key leadership position at HCA Florida JFK North Hospital, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Lab, and Pre/Post Holding Unit. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to drive quality and efficiency in patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and administer the Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Lab, and Pre/Post Holding Unit to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient operations.
  • Supervise and develop a team of nursing and technology staff to provide exceptional patient care and achieve departmental goals.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare disciplines to ensure efficient and cost-effective patient care.
  • Implement strategies and programs to enhance patient care, improve quality and safety, and reduce costs.
  • Partner with leadership and peers to maintain the growth and success of the cardiovascular services department.
Requirements
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field.
