We are seeking an experienced Snowmaking Maintenance professional to join our team at Vail Resorts.

Job Overview

This is a full-time position responsible for the maintenance of snowmaking equipment and systems, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in providing an exceptional experience for our guests.

The ideal candidate will have prior snowmaking experience, advanced knowledge of trade-specific hand tools, storm water management, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain pump, compressor, and cooling tower equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Support the winter snowmaking team with varying degrees of equipment maintenance tasks, including ongoing training of snowmaking staff.
  • Operate all transportation vehicles as per standard operating procedures.
  • Inspect and maintain snowmaking equipment, performing routine maintenance and repairs as needed.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required.
  • 3-5 years of prior snowmaking experience required.
  • Valid Driver's License without restrictions is required.
  • Advanced understanding of snowmaking equipment maintenance and operations.
