Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated caregiver to provide support to two of our valued clients located in the Tualatin and Wilsonville regions. The role requires a commitment of 20+ hours per week, focusing on light assistance with daily living activities, companionship, and maintaining a clean living environment.
About Us: United Homecare Services is a nonprofit organization committed to enhancing the dignity and quality of life for seniors in Oregon. Our mission is to partner with families seeking home assistance, ensuring that our caregivers are well-supported and valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities.
- Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to ensure a healthy living space.
- Offer companionship to help alleviate feelings of isolation among seniors.
- Remind clients to take their medications as prescribed.
- Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals.
- Accompany clients for shopping or errands as needed.
- Transport clients to appointments and outings.
- Report any unusual incidents and respond appropriately in emergencies.
