We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Description:Responsibilities:- Perform monitoring, ventilator management, and oxygen therapy.
- Handle trauma and adult ICU patients including BPICU, SICU, MICU, and NSICU.
- Work with a diverse range of patients, with a small pediatric population.
- Engage in a busy ED environment with ECLS transfers.
- 2 years of experience, including Level 1 Trauma experience.
- WA State license required.
- BLS, RRT certifications.
- Experience with all adult trauma and burns, medically and neurologically complicated cases, trach patients, spinal cord injury, and complex sleep-disordered breathing.
The facility cannot accommodate scheduling requests outside of approved requested time off. Traveler's holiday requested time off is restricted to 1 of 3 major holidays and 3 additional non-holiday days during non-major holiday weeks (11/22-12/1, 12/22-12/27, 12/28-1/5). Weekend work required every other weekend. There are no on-call requirements, and the clinician will not float to meet facility needs. Open to accommodating block schedules and accepting local candidates. Candidates must have EPIC charting experience, although it is not required. Must complete non-billable pre-start modules, except the EPIC module, which is completed during orientation.
