Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our team at Gutter Guards America. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the entire gutter/roofing project lifecycle, from inspection to invoicing, and will excel in maximizing efficiency and speed to billing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with operations daily to ensure projects are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Keep customers and Project Managers informed and up to date on all project activities to promote good customer service and satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all company protocol, project and safety policies, accounting procedures, and quality control measures.
  • Responsible for ensuring that the service quality is at the company's highest standard and meets customer expectations.
  • Assist with project budget to ensure profitability and financial stability.
  • Pull permits, initiate, and follow through to ensure all necessary paperwork is in the project file and compliant with local regulations.
  • Provide feedback to Operation and Project Managers regarding individual jobs as needed to improve processes and outcomes.
  • Audit, complete, bill, and certify projects using the CRM and online portals to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Understanding of workflow procedures and systems to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Maintain professional communication with clients, adjusters, subcontractors, onsite labor force, and other stakeholders.
  • Assist with office administrative tasks, as needed, to support the team and ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in exterior home remodeling, with a focus on roofing and gutters.
  • Familiar with Xactimate or the insurance process.
  • Comprehensive understanding of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously, from inception to completion.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and project management tools.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
