Position Summary:

As a Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include a variety of light cleaning tasks. Duties encompass: making beds, replenishing linens, performing laundry, vacuuming, and cleaning rooms, bathrooms, and hallways.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas to meet health standards.
  • Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies using vacuum cleaners and shampooers.
  • Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
  • Ensure storage areas and cleaning carts are well-stocked, organized, and tidy.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or 1-2 years of relevant experience.
  • Ability to read and write in English.
  • Good physical and mental health is essential for this position.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, walk, sit, push, pull, and work a flexible schedule.
  • Ability to move continuously during work hours and lift/carry 50 to 75 pounds.
  • Must be punctual and able to work full shifts, including overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work according to the necessary schedule to meet job requirements with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in housekeeping roles such as maid, room attendant, or custodian.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a collaborative team player.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
