Position Overview:

The CNC Machining Specialist is tasked with determining programming methodologies and generating code for CNC machinery utilizing NX software, in addition to developing and maintaining setup documentation for shop operations.

Responsibilities include:
- Selecting appropriate cutting tools tailored for specific tasks.
- Crafting CNC machine code using NX software based on provided solid models.
- Developing NC programs that incorporate machine probing for verifying part positioning and gathering data.
- Ensuring program precision through the use of Vericut simulation software.

**Qualifications:**
- Over 7 years of experience in a manufacturing or machining setting.
- Proficient knowledge of cutting tools and techniques.
- Familiarity with various material types including Aluminum, Stainless Steel, Titanium, and High Nickel Alloys.
- Understanding of standard metal removal processes and cutting tool applications (feeds/speeds/etc.).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC programming.
- Knowledge of common 3D model formats.
- Experience working with 3D models.
- Familiarity with CGTech Vericut simulation software.

- Preferred experience with CGTech Vericut machine building.
- General computer proficiency.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.
- Experience with Windows 10 and ability to navigate file structures in Windows Explorer.
- Willingness to travel as necessary for training and multi-site support.
