Program Registrar Specialist

About the Role:
The Program Registrar Specialist at Mass Audubon will oversee all aspects of registration for educational programs, providing excellent customer service and maintaining professional standards. This role serves as a liaison between the North Shore Education Department and schools and organized groups booking programs or visits.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and assist customers to register for educational programs, including school programs, group visits, summer camp, homeschool, and vacation week programs.
- Assist with onsite registration for special events and/or fundraisers as needed.
- Answer participants' and parents' inquiries, issue invoices and bills, process payments, and follow up on unpaid charges.
- Enter and maintain program listings in the online program registration system and calendars.
- Act as liaison between school/groups and the North Shore region education department.
- Work with educational staff as needed to schedule programming and maintain education program and special events calendar.
- Run reports and queries and maintain integrity of data collected in the registration process; work with the IT team to troubleshoot and resolve any technical difficulties.
- Provide additional support to North Shore team as needed, including general visitor services support.
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age.
- 1 year of related experience or equivalent.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent people skills and enthusiasm for a team working environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and ability to manage specialized databases as developed by Mass Audubon.
- A demonstrated ability to work well with other staff, volunteers, and community representatives as well as independently when necessary.
- CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to get certification.
- Ability to relate to a diverse range of people and exercise cultural competence and inclusion.
Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $19.90-$22.33 per hour, based on level of experience and qualifications.
