Our rehabilitation center is seeking a dedicated and licensed Rehabilitation Specialist who is a proactive self-starter, eager for mentorship and continuous learning. Our vibrant and dynamic team environment is complemented by a diverse patient demographic, including orthopedic, vestibular, sports medicine, oncology, and hand therapy cases.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Leadership Functions:

  • Support staff development and growth by providing coaching, guidance, training, and support to both clinical and non-clinical employees. This includes assisting in supervising staff in the absence of a Center Manager and as needed based on employee goals and performance.
  • Collaborate with leadership to enhance the center's growth through program and business development, and actively participate in community events.
  • Foster employee engagement and retention by building high levels of trust, promoting a safe and supportive environment, ensuring every team member is in a fulfilling role, and recognizing individual and team achievements.
  • Assist in managing and resolving employee relations issues to ensure compliance with Human Resources and organizational policies.

Essential Operational Functions:

  • Develop strategies to enhance profitability, including expanding referral sources, organic marketing efforts, and establishing strong community relationships.
  • Provide direct patient care that ensures an exceptional patient experience.
  • Encourage professional development and growth among clinical staff to meet patient needs effectively.
  • Analyze outcome program measures and create plans to enhance patient care where necessary.
  • Maintain strong relationships with physicians, customers, and payors, coordinating the implementation of clinical specialty programs as required.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

  • Proficiency in Windows-based office technologies (e.g., Word, Excel).
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities, including integrity, positivity, discernment, resilience, courage, resourcefulness, and business acumen.
  • Effective communication skills for clear and organized report writing and presentation of information to staff and patients.
  • Ability to identify and prioritize issues and actions efficiently.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or graduation from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Current State licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of practice is required.
  • CPR certification is mandatory.
