Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medical Oncology team at The Hospitals of Providence - East Campus. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care to patients with cancer, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring patient responses.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Document patient information, including medical histories, test results, and treatment plans, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current RN license in the state of Texas.
  • At least 1 year of experience in medical oncology or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a patient-centered approach to healthcare.
