**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paint Shop Technician to join our team at ADM. As a Paint Shop Technician, you will be responsible for blasting and painting railcars to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Blasting and painting of railcars to meet company standards
  • Performing tasks involved in blasting and painting of railcars, including preparation, application, and finishing
  • Ensuring all work is done in accordance with company safety procedures and protocols
  • Meeting physical requirements of the position, including prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, and lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Communicating effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Working independently and as part of a team to achieve company goals

Requirements:

  • Experience in industrial abrasive blasting and painting is preferred
  • Ability to perform the tasks involved in blasting and painting of railcars and pass an entry-level blasting and painting test
  • Commitment to ADM's goal of achieving a zero-injury culture and understanding of company safety procedures
  • Regular and prompt attendance
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow directions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
