Position Overview:
Holman Inc. is seeking a Robotics Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves a variety of programming tasks that require a solid understanding of established programming methodologies and data processing standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute a range of programming tasks that necessitate familiarity with established coding practices and data processing protocols.
- Modify, enhance, and implement new software solutions within existing frameworks while recommending improvements to optimize these systems.
- Collaborate with project managers and architects on application design and development initiatives.
- Create applications, components, and services utilizing C#.NET and ASP.NET to fulfill business requirements.
- Assess business needs and processes to provide precise estimates for development tasks.
- Interpret written business requirements and technical specifications.
- Conduct coding in accordance with technical specifications and standards.
- Investigate, analyze, and document reported software defects.
- Develop, document, and execute unit test plans, scripts, and testing frameworks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Provide fair and reasonable estimates for assigned tasks and projects.
- Stay updated with software development trends, offering suggestions and implementing best practices in IT processes and systems.
- Mentor junior team members in both technical skills and interpersonal communication.
- Guide the adoption of new tools, technologies, and development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
- Certification in .NET is preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience with C#.NET 4.5/4.0, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Strong SQL proficiency; Oracle experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Thorough understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and associated guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities.
- Experience with third-party controls such as Telerik ASP.NET controls is a plus.
- Familiarity with application development using React.JS or React Native is a plus.
