BCT Partners, LLC seeks an Early Childhood Health Specialist Lead to join its National Head Start Training and Technical Assistance (TTA) team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in public health, health education, or a related field, with experience analyzing health-related data and providing training and technical assistance on comprehensive health services for young children and families.

This role will involve serving as a liaison between the Office of Head Start, national centers, and other relevant agencies, providing subject matter expertise on mental health, environmental health, and safety strategies, and developing presentations and training materials on early childhood health topics.

The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $60,000 and $100,000 annually, depending on relevant work experience and skills.

About the Position

The Early Childhood Health Specialist Lead will be part of the TTA team working with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, through the Administration for Children and Families, and the Office of Head Start. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of comprehensive health services, including mental health and environmental health and safety, and experience working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between the OHS, national centers, and other relevant agencies.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on comprehensive health services, including mental health and environmental health and safety.
  • Develop and implement strategies for connecting with grantee health managers and/or coordinators.
  • Aggregate, analyze, and disseminate regional and grantee health data from existing government systems.
  • Develop and provide presentations and training on topics related to early childhood health, mental health, safety, and other related topics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in public health, health education, maternal and child health, health administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience related to health services in early childhood programs.
  • Experience analyzing health-related data and providing training and technical assistance on comprehensive health services.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
