Early Childhood Education Lead Teacher Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Early Childhood Education Lead Teacher to join our team at KIPP Colorado. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for driving instruction, care, and discipline for three, four, and five-year-old pre-kindergarten students.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will lead a classroom team and perform various duties including creating a language-rich environment, preparing instructional materials, leading student instruction and daily living skills, conducting ongoing assessments, and maintaining compliance with licensing regulations.
Key Responsibilities- Instructional Planning and Delivery:
- Develop standards-based unit plans and daily lesson plans.
- Design and deliver rigorous, backwards-planned lessons.
- Implement assessments aligned with daily objectives.
- Use data to adjust short- and long-term plans to meet students' learning needs.
- Collaboration and Continuous Learning:
- Collaborate with colleagues and seek feedback for continuous improvement.
- Reflect on instructional practices to meet individual professional development goals.
- Assume personal responsibility for student achievement.
- Actively participate in professional development, grade-level, and department meetings.

- Establish relationships with students and families based on trust and respect.
- Approach practice with a sense of urgency to maximize instructional time.
- Establish high expectations for academic work and classroom behavior.

Requirements
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
- PDIS 3.0 ECT Credential II+.
- Ability to pass FBI, CBI, and TRAILS Child Abuse and Neglect Background Check.
- Fulfill all state and federal guidelines to meet Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) criteria.
- Ability to work during after-school, evening, and weekend meetings and events at the school.
- Commitment to working with youth from diverse backgrounds (at least two years of teaching experience highly preferred).
- Relentless focus on results and a commitment to teamwork.
KIPP Colorado offers competitive compensation and benefits packages. This role starts at an estimated salary range of $65,015. Benefits include excellent health insurance, more than six weeks of annual vacation and paid time off, career growth opportunities, mental health support, technology, and access to relocation reimbursement and stipends when applicable.
