Job Overview

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide school-based therapy services to students in the Royse City, TX area.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities
  • Collaborate with school staff and IEP teams to develop individualized treatment plans and goals for students
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, addressing areas such as fine motor skills, sensory integration, and self-care
  • Adapt classroom environments and materials to promote accessibility and facilitate student participation
  • Document student progress and treatment plans according to agency and school guidelines
Requirements
  • Valid Texas Occupational Therapy license
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Previous experience as a School Occupational Therapist is preferred, but new graduates with relevant fieldwork experience are encouraged to apply
